Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Age calculated as on: 1 Apr 2026

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years. Specifically, candidates must have been born not earlier than April 02, 1996, and not later than April 01, 2005.

Age Relaxations:* SC/ST: Up to 5 years * OBC: Up to 3 years * PwBD (Gen/EWS): Up to 10 years

  • Candidates possessing M.Phil. / Ph.D.: Upper age limit relaxed to 32 and 34 years respectively * Ex-servicemen: Up to 5 years (subject to specific conditions) * Commercial Bank/AIFI Experience: Up to 3 years relaxation based on completed years of experience.

Qualification

  • Officers in Grade 'B' (General): Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) OR Post-Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD)
  • Officers in Grade 'B' (DEPR): A Master's Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course / Finance, with a minimum of 55% marks.
  • Officers in Grade 'B' (DSIM): A Master's Degree in Statistics, Data Science, or related fields with a minimum of 55% marks, OR a four-year Bachelor's Degree in these fields with a minimum of 60% marks.

Selection Process

Phase-I (Prelims), Phase-II (Mains), and Personal Interview.
