TNPSC Age Limit Guide & Relaxations
The minimum age for most TNPSC exams is 18 years. However, the maximum age limit varies significantly based on your educational qualification and the specific Group (Group 1, 2, or 4).
Group 1 (Executive)

- Reserved (SC/ST/MBC/BC): 39 Years
Group 4 & VAO
- General: 32 Years
- SC/ST/Destitute Widows: 37 Years
- MBC/BC: 34 Years
Category-Wise Age Relaxation
One of the major advantages in TNPSC exams is that for candidates belonging to SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, BC, and BCM who possess a degree higher than SSLC, there is often No Maximum Age Limit for many posts.
